It’s October and you know what that means: non-stop Angela Chase fashion and Halloween movies all day, every day. One of my personal faves is “Ginger Snaps,” not only for its amazing dialogue (“I can see your gonch!”) but also because it poses as a werewolf movie when it’s actually about surfing the crimson wave. I love the idea of people sitting down for some sweet werewolf action and then bam: menses motherfuckers! Also I’m kind of creepy about period portrayals in film. I might actually support “Twilight” if it shirked romanticized emotional abuse for a few more menstruation allegories.

Honorable mention to “Teeth,” about a girl with vagina dentata. Yay vadge chompers and yay Halloween!
