As far as I’m concerned, the issue featuring this  Tiffani Amber Thiessen interview is the holy grail of Sassy magazines (but only after the Kurt and Courtney issue and, in my case, the November 1992 issue with queen Mayim ‘Blossom’ Bialik on the cover). This article, which prompted Tiffani’s publicist to accuse Sassy of “terrorist tactics,” is hilarious and cringe-worthy due to Thiessen’s complete lack of self awareness and Mary Ann’s low tolerance for beauty pageant bullshit. I would feel bad for her but a) I was never a huge fan of Saved By the Bell ( Hang Time was better. Real talk. I’m just being honest!) b) no Tiffani Amber Thiessen Lifetime movie performance was as thrilling as Tori Spelling’s in Death of A Cheerleader and c) it’s really great to see honesty prevail over the feelings of actresses and their publicists.
Also, not everyone can be Blossom.
This is reason #13948309 Sassy should still exist.
